ARM Ad Campaign
ARM (UK) designs the technology that lies at the heart of advanced digital products. From wireless networking and consumer entertainment solutions to imaging, automotive, security and storage devices.
- Following an acquisition, ARM wished to merge the two companies’ technologies under the RealView Microcontroller Development Kit (RVMDK) product while maintaining original brand loyalties.
- Create more North American awareness of the RealView name and boost sales.
- Communicate the RVMDK tool set brand attributes to engineers.
- YRG concepted a series of ads featuring humorous buttons simplifying the benefits of ARM’s product driving readers to a landing page for a free demo version of the toolkit.
- Lead generation was reinforced with a relevant whitepaper downloadable only after submission of data via the landing page.
- The ad series was part of a more expansive program that utilized, eDM, newsletter development, digital ads, and online directory and industry-specific search engine listings for enhanced product exposure.
- The ARM team heralded the campaign a success on many levels and have extended the program into other mediums and channels since initial publishing.
- Online industry-specific and self-qualifying listings garnered very affordable cost-per-click averages of $2.99. Newsletter results exceeded the publishers’ other newsletters, with editorial click-through rates up to 5%higher. Ad click rates were double that of the publishers’ other newsletters.
- Print campaign was awarded a Silver trophy at the 2006 Davey Awards.
